扬子中学是国家级示范高中、江苏省首批四星级高中，曾获得省“教育工作先进集体”“江苏省文明单位”“江苏省平安校园”“江苏省基础教育课程改革先进集体”，南京市市“师德先进群体”“南京市园林式校园”“南京市书香校园创建校”“南京市中小学心理健康教育特色学校”“南京市中小学体育特色学校”“南京市中学足球特色学校”“南京市中小学优秀志愿者联盟学校”“南京市依法治校示范校”等多项荣誉称号。

学校办学成果丰硕，高考本科上线率和整体推进率稳居全市前列，已连续15年获南京市高中教育发展性评估“综合奖”和“教学质量优秀奖”两项最高荣誉。学校学科竞赛成绩斐然，2人获全国奥赛一等奖，38人获省奥赛一等奖；3人拥有六项国家实用新型专利。校田径队有7位国家一级运动员，17位国家二级运动员，大批学生被清华大学、南京大学、复旦大学、东南大学等名校录取。

学校素质教育成果显著，社团活动蓬勃开展，选修课程形式多样，“至精讲堂”专家讲座别开生面，艺术节、科技节、文化节好戏连连，学生展示风采，张扬个性。校健美操队连续3年获全国校园健身操比赛一等奖，校辩论队连续3年获得南京市高中生五四辩论赛一等奖。

Introduction to Yangzi High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University

Yangzi High School, evaluated as National Level Demonstrative High School and Provincial Four-star Level High School, has won many titles of honor such as “Advanced Collective of Education”, “Civilized Unit”, “Safe Campus”, “Advanced Collective of Basic Education Curriculum Reform” of Jiangsu Province. It has also won several honorary titles as “Municipal Teacher Ethics Advanced Collective”, “Garden-style Campus”, “Constructive School of Scholarly Campus”, “Characteristic School of Mental Health Education”, “ Characteristic School of Physical Education”, “Characteristic School of Football Education”, “Excellent Volunteer League School” among all the  primary and secondary Schools.

 Yangzi High School strictly implements the construction of Five-star schools. With beautiful environment, rational layout and advanced equipment, it has a Career Planning Center, a Psychology Counselling Center and a Provincial Olympic Competition Center. Four-bed dormitories are equipped with central air-conditioning and bathrooms. The canteen offers various dishes of high quality and low price.

 Yangzi High School has 177 faculty members, including 2 special grade teachers, 37 municipal academic leaders, 2 teachers with doctor’s degree, 68 with master’s degree,  and 2 members of “333 High-level Culture Project of Jiangsu Province”. The provincial and municipal excellent teachers have accounted for a large proportion.
