诚邀海内外优秀青年学者参加西北大学第四届丝绸之路青年学者论坛 A Cordial Invitation to the Fourth Northwest University Silk Road Forum for Distinguished Young Scholars

　　一、论坛简介

　　西北大学第四届丝绸之路青年学者论坛将于2019年9月4日至8日在西安举办。本届论坛是陕西省第四届“丝绸之路青年学者论坛”分论坛。本届论坛旨在为海内外优秀青年学者搭建一个深入交流的平台，通过学术报告会、研讨交流会、人才引进洽谈会等方式，促进海内外优秀青年学者深入了解陕西和西北大学发展情况，吸引海内外优秀青年学者来陕创新创业。

　　I. An Introduction to the Forum

　　The Fourth Northwest University Silk Road Forum of Young Scholars will be held in Xi'an from September 4th to 8th of 2019. It is one of the sessions of the Fourth Shaanxi Province Silk Road Forum of Young Scholars. This forum is intended to provide a platform of in-depth communication for outstanding young scholars from home and abroad, to help young scholars further understand the development of Northwest University and Shaanxi Province through such ways as academic reports, seminars as well as high-level talent recruitment fairs so as to attract distinguished young scholars for their career start-up and innovation in Shaanxi.

　　二、本届论坛涉及学科领域

　　环境与地球科学领域、生命科学与医学领域、食品科学与工程领域、电子信息科学领域、化学化工领域、数学与物理领域、文化遗产保护领域、经济与管理领域、人文社科其他领域和以上领域交叉学科。

　　II. Areas and Disciplines Involved in the Forum

　　Environment and Earth Science, Life and Medicine Science, Food Science and Technology, Electronic Information Technology, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Mathematics and Physics, Cultural Heritage Protection, Economics and Management, and interdisciplinary areas between above-mentioned areas and other areas in Humanities and Social Science.

　　三、申请条件

　　（一）申请人具有博士学位，自然科学和工程技术领域的申请人年龄不超过40周岁（女性不超过42周岁），哲学社会科学领域的申请人年龄不超过45周岁；

　　（二）申请人具有广阔的学术视野和创新思维，具备成为所从事领域领军人才的潜质；

　　（三）申请人所从事学科领域应与西北大学上述学科领域紧密相关，并已取得突出的学术业绩，为同龄人中的拔尖人才，已获得学术界同行的高度认可；

　　（四）申请人学风严谨，遵守法纪，遵守职业道德。

　　III. Eligibility and Qualifications

　　As an eligible applicant, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications:

　　1.An earned PhD,the fields of natural sciences and engineering technologies shall be under the age of 40 (female shall be under the age of 42),and the fields of philosophy and social sciences shall be under the age of 45.

　　2.Broad academic vision and innovative thinking and the potential of being a leader in the academic area involved.

　　3.Your discipline shall be closely related to the above-mentioned discipline areas of Northwest University,outstanding achievements in research as evidenced by an excellent record of publications and an internationally recognized scholarly profile in your discipline.

　　4.A dedicated and conscientious research attitude and abidance by laws and ethics.

　　四、申请方式

　　申请人可在西北大学高层次人才项目办公室网站（），点击下载《西北大学第四届丝绸之路青年学者论坛申请表》（点击下载），按要求填写后，附上申请人简历，一并发送至会务组邮箱：rcb@nwu.edu.cn

　　邮件主题：西北大学第四届丝绸之路青年学者论坛+姓名+所在单位+专业。

　　（一）申请参会人员需在邮件中注明个人信息，包括姓名、性别、出生年月、电子邮箱、所在国家或地区、工作或学习单位等；

　　（二）个人简历中应包含个人学习、工作经历，研究方向，业绩成果（需有论文清单）等；

　　（三）完成申请后请等待资料审核，通过资料审核的申请人将收到学校的正式邀请函；

　　（四）申请报名截止日期：2019年8月20日。

　　IV. How to Apply

　　To apply, you may visit the website of High Level Talent Project Office of Northwest University (), download and fill out the application form for the Fourth Northwest University Silk Road Forum of Young Scholars, and send the application form together with your CV by Email to the conference team: rcb@nwu.edu.cn

　　Email subject should include: the 4th NWU Silk Road Forum of Young Scholars+your full name+work unit+your specialty of research

　　1.Applicants are required to include the following information in the Email ( name, gender, date of birth, Email address, country or region, work or study unit, etc).

　　2.The CV should cover information with respect to prior study and work experience, research focus and achievements ( a list of academic papers is required), etc.

　　3.Please wait for approval after lodging the application. The approved applicant will receive a formal invitation letter from NWU.

　　4.Deadline for application:August 20th, 2019.

　　五、日程安排

　　9月4日全天：报到。

　　9月5日上午：参加陕西省第四届丝绸之路青年学者主论坛开幕式系列活动。

　　9月5日下午：参加西北大学第四届丝绸之路青年学者分论坛。

　　9月6日-7日全天：参加分领域学术研讨会、校园参观、实验室观摩、学术考察、人才洽谈会等活动。

　　9月8日：论坛结束，离会。

　　V.Meeting Schedule

　　September 4th：Arrival and Check-in.

　　Morning of September 5th：Attending the main session of the Fourth Shaanxi Province Silk Road Forum of Young Scholars.

　　Afternoon of September 5th：Attending the parallel session of the Fourth Northwest University Silk Road Forum of Young Scholars.

　　September 6th to September 7th：Attending academic seminars in different academic areas and talent recruitment conference, visiting the campus and laboratories.

　　September 8th：Ending and Departure.

　　We will update the specific activity schedule and arrangement, please keep your attention.

　　六、特别说明

　　学校将为受邀青年学者报销国内外往返交通旅费，并统一安排免费食宿以及机场、火车站接送服务。

　　受邀青年学者根据研究内容及进展，可提前准备学术报告。
